i got this model since my last Cuisinart broke after a year of constant use. small plastic part broke off. beside that i was happy with Cuisinart. i have to say this one makes a really strong coffee i ever had from a home brew machine. Had to make minor adjustments to the settings get the coffee to my liking but once that is configured it's smooth sailing all the way. It is one of the best i ever had. one minor thing is you have to clean the area between the grinder and the gold filter. bit tricky to clean so i use a hand vacuum to do it once a week. other wise i highly recommend it. I'm waiting for them to come up with a model where the water can connected directly so i don't have to put in water and automatically take out the old grinds. :-) hope in few years.....
