Unfortunately,I cannot rate the item at this time as it was defective from the start and never worked. We returned the item and were given a full refund minus shipping. I have yet to order another coffee maker. This was the very first time I ever had something from Amazon not work, but I know it wad a manufacturer problem and not the fault of the seller.
